1900s-1910s German Silver Chainmail Bag

Edwardian era tiny  chainmail "purse" made of German silver (an alloy of copper, nickel & zinc). This one may have been lightly gold-washed to give it the more golden tone.  Interior is leather.  
 
Chain measures 12" total
Bag is approx 3'x3"
 
In good condition for an item over 100 years old.  Most notable imperfections include:
-wear, discoloration on  interior leather pouch
-missing one decorative ball along the bottom
-wear and scratches in the metal throughout
-one hole in chain mail
